Standing Rules for Board Meeting

The Board of Directors feels it serves you best when their meetings are conducted in an orderly manner.  The Association is a business with requirements of the Board to meet and elect officers and conduct Association business. Your cooperation in this regard is requested.

Your opinion is important to the Board of Directors.  The Board desires to hear from Members who have information concerning the Association.  If the topic is not on the agenda, the board will take notes to follow up on the question or concern. They will not vote or take action on items that are not on the agenda for this meeting.  

Board of Directors Meeting Rules of Conduct

Meetings held via video or telephonic means: All participants will be muted with the exception of homeowner input. 

  1. All persons in attendance MUST be association members (not general public)
  2. Audio and/or Video recording of Board meetings is strictly prohibited by attendees
  3. Persons shall conduct themselves in a civil manner and shall refrain from;
    1. The use of alcohol or drugs (unless prescription) during a Board meeting;
    2. The use of profanity;
    3. Shouting, screaming or interfering with Board meetings;
    4. Threats, rude comments or disruptive behavior;
    5. Physical altercations;
    6. Side conversations;
    7. Being disrespectful or judgmental of others;
  4. Turn off (or silence) all cell phones, pagers or other electronic devices
  5. Attendees MUST be recognized by the Board prior to addressing the Board
  6. Attendees have a maximum of two (2) minutes to address the Board once recognized-only during homeowner input
  7. Attendees may not interrupt others who have been recognized by the Board and “have the floor” for discussion
  8. Stay on topic during open discussions
  9. Once a topic is closed for discussion, do not re-open the topic
  10. Pay attention to discussions and listen with respect
  11. Be respectful to all persons in attendance
  12. Maintain a positive attitude

Members shall not be permitted to interrupt nor question any speaker. The Board may adjourn the meeting at any time if they feel the disruption from the members becomes unproductive.

Members who become disruptive may be asked to leave.

Members should conduct themselves in a professional manor.
